Students: Intergenerational Program Leaders Wanted

We are looking for students to work with us this summer.

Be a part of the Naramata Centre program team this summer. As an Intergenerational Program Leader you will assist the Community Hosts in facilitating and promoting programs which foster intergenerational community including (but not limited to) campfires, pottery, music, dance/drama, cooking and music and will facilitate a drop-in studio for people of all ages, as well as fostering spirit centred conversations and gatherings. You will also recruit and support volunteers and work alongside them as they complete grounds maintenance and other tasks which support the life of the community at the Naramata Centre. 

Skills & Experience
* excellent customer service skills
* experience working with children and/or youth, planning and implementing programs
* summer camp, daycamp, Sunday school or club leadership experience an asset
* previous experience with the Naramata Centre as a program participant or leader is an asset

Requirements
* 15 – 30 years old
* full-time student both in the previous and upcoming year
* Canadian citizen or landed immigrant and legally entitled to work in Canada

Details
* 40 hours/week, $14 per hour + 4% vacation pay
* Housing may be available as a taxable benefit (you will be required to provide all your own food/meals)
* 3 positions: employment dates – June 26, 2016 – August 26, 2017
* 1 position employment term starting June 16 - August 26, 2017. Early applicants will be considered for this position
