Naramata Centre is a place where people find an inclusive, welcoming space to reconnect in mind, body and spirit. The Centre is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The Centre has seen significant growth over the last three years and needs to expand our financial capacity to support this continued growth. This position will likely average four days per week (full-time in the summer and part-time in the winter).
Key areas of responsibilities are:
Full cycle of accounting.
Receive and pay supplier and contractor invoices.
Manage payroll for small staff team and seasonal workforce.
Manage all government and regulatory remittances and reporting.
Provide back up support to Administrative Co-ordinator and on-site hosting of Centre participants.
Grade 12 or equivalent and five (5) years of related bookkeeping experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Self motivated, proactive and trusted with confidential data.
Flexible to work various shifts, including some evening and weekends.
Work well in a team environment.
