Site Manager

Naramata Centre is a place where people find an inclusive, welcoming space to reconnect in mind, body and spirit. Our spectacular campus stretches over 23 acres and is a mix of cabins, campground, program and administrative spaces. In the summer, participants come to stay on site for a week, participate in a variety of community experiences and programs as well as enjoy being in this beautiful area. In the non-summer months, people come for smaller retreats and workshops.  All roles within our organization are tasked with delivery a good experience and making sure staff, volunteers and participants are all valued and feel part of the community. 

 The Centre is seeking a Site Manager to join our team. This position is key to the effective running of our operation.

 Key areas of responsibilities are:

  •  Develop and carry out an annual and medium term maintenance plan for all Centre buildings

  • Coordinate a seasonal program to winterize and re-open certain buildings

  • Recruit, train & supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff

  • Recommend and contract with outside trades people as appropriate

Technical Qualifications:

  •  Experience in facilities management.

  • Experience managing housekeeping and maintenance staff

  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

  • Experience integrating accessibility into site operations

  • BC Drivers License

 General Skills & Abilities:

  •  Self motivated, proactive, hard working and a team player

  • Work efficiently without compromising quality

  • Experience working with volunteers

  • Positive attitude and willing to learn.
