Every week at the Centre

The Chapel and the labyrinth

The Chapel is open through the day for quiet reflection, and the labyrinth is ready whenever you would like to walk it.

Healing Pathways and Spiritual Direction

Healing Pathways offers gentle, energy-based support for body, mind, and spirit in 45 minute sessions at the Healing House. Spiritual Direction offers one-on-one sessions for reflection and deepening. Both are included with your session pass at no additional fee, and donations are welcome. Sign up ahead of time at the front desk.

The garden

Feel like pulling some weeds or picking some berries? Pick up garden tools at the front desk and immerse yourself in the space.

Around the village

The village is a short walk from the Centre, with most of it along Robinson Avenue.

Coffee and treats

Just Baked pours the village's coffee and bakes the goods to go with it, open from early morning every day.

Groceries and essentials

The Naramata General Store covers groceries, deli, ice cream, the post office, and the liquor store, all under one roof. For a full grocery run, Penticton is about a 20 minute drive away.

The pub

The Naramata Pub & Grill sits at the far end of Robinson Avenue, with a casual menu and a patio for a slow dinner.

On the water

Sun n' Sup Paddleboard Shop rents boards with wheeled carts for the stroll to the water. Centre Beach and Manitou Beach are both a short walk away.

Wednesdays

The Naramata Community Farmers Market fills Manitou Park from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, June through September.

Good to know

Reaching us

The front desk in Alberta Hall is open 8:00 am to 7:30 pm daily: 250-496-5751 (toll free 1-877-996-5751). After hours: 778-531-3531. Email: bookings@naramatacentresociety.org.

Check-in is from 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am. In an emergency, call 911 first, then let staff at Alberta Hall know as soon as it is safe.

Wednesday room refresh

If you're staying the whole week in an indoor room, our housekeeping team refreshes your room on Wednesday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm: fresh towels and garbage removal. To help it go smoothly, leave all your towels in one pile and set your garbage by the door. If you'd prefer a specific time, or would rather skip the service, just let the front desk know. The team won't enter a room with a pet inside, so if you're travelling with a pet, let the front desk know what timing works.

Around the grounds

Quiet hours are 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. Naramata Centre is a no smoking facility: grounds and buildings are entirely smoke free, including tobacco, vaping, and cannabis.

Pets are welcome in designated pet-friendly accommodations and campsites only, on a leash and supervised at all times, and are not permitted inside buildings, the Creekside Commons, the Sacred Garden, or the Labyrinth.

A fire ban is currently in effect: no open fires anywhere at the Centre, including the beach. Propane camp stoves and propane fire rings remain welcome. We share this place with wildlife, so please store food securely and never leave it unattended.

Games are available to borrow at the front desk: corn hole, ladder ball, bocce, and a soccer ball.
