Would you like to offer your skills, time or expertise to the Naramata Centre Society?
Hearts and Hands Volunteer Events
Join us in May as we wake the Centre up for spring, or in October when we put the Centre to bed for the winter. Enjoy the camaraderie of working for a common cause, meet some new friends, and give back to the Centre that has nurtured you. Rooms are provided at no cost, but you do need to register for the event and your accommodation. See below.
Labour for Accommodation
In spring and fall we’re open to receive offers of work in exchange for reduced accommodation rate. Limited one-bedroom units, shared rooms, or campsites can be available. Accommodation rates can be reduced by up to 50% for 2 adults staying in the same unit, each working 15 hours for a total of 30 hours. Volunteer shifts are 9-12 noon or 1-4 pm Monday to Friday. No special skills are required; however, volunteers must be able to do physical work such as raking, weeding, laundry or other tasks. Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also recognize that not everyone is able to make this time commitment but would still like to be involved.
We ask you to consider a donation to this program.
Ongoing Volunteer Roles
Volunteers allow the Society to more sustainably meet needs and engage the wider Naramata Centre Community.
At present we have no specific volunteer roles. Please use the volunteer application form to submit your interest, and we will get in touch with you about potential opportunities.
