Cancellation Policy

We know plans can change. Here is how we handle cancellations.

The short version

Cancellations made 21 days or more before arrival receive a credit or partial refund. Cancellations within 21 days of arrival are non-refundable. If we have to close the Centre, your registration is fully refunded.

Individual Bookings

21 days or more before your arrival date

If you paid 100% of the balance at booking, we refund 50% to your original payment method and convert the other 50% to a Naramata Centre credit. The credit applies to any reservation or program booked within one year of the cancellation date.

If you paid the standard 50% deposit at booking, your full deposit is converted to a Naramata Centre credit, applicable to any reservation or program booked within one year of the cancellation date.

Less than 21 days before your arrival date

Cancellations are non-refundable.

If you cancel due to smoke or weather while the Centre is open

If you choose to cancel because of regional smoke, weather, or any other personal reason while the Centre and roads remain open and accessible, the standard policy above applies.

Group Bookings

Group bookings follow the terms set out in your Group Contract, and conditions may vary by group and event. The general framework is:

Between 60 and 21 days before your event

50% of the deposit on any cancelled portion of your booking is converted to a credit on your account, applicable to any reservation made within one year of the cancellation date.

Less than 21 days before your event

All payments are final. No refund or credit issued.

If you do not have your Group Contract on hand, contact bookings@naramatacentresociety.org and we will send you a copy.

If We Have to Close the Centre

Sometimes circumstances outside our control require us to close the Centre. This includes wildfires, extreme weather, road closures, and public health restrictions.

For individual bookings

Affected registrations are fully refunded.

For group bookings

100% of your booking is converted to a credit on your account, applicable toward a rescheduled event within one year of the cancellation date. Once rebooked, the rescheduled event must be completed within one year.

Not covered

Online programs and group programs are not covered under Centre closure refunds.

If We Cancel a Program

We reserve the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment. If a program is cancelled, we will notify registered participants at least 21 days before the start date and refund all program registration fees in full.
