Registrations

When do registrations open (and for which weeks)? Rather than have hundreds of people trying to register simultaneously, this year registration is organized around three registration windows:

  • 12 noon PST on Sunday, March 3 – registrations for weeks 1-2-3 will open.

  • 12 noon PST on Sunday, March 10 – registrations for weeks 4-5-6 will open; registrations for weeks 1-2-3 continue.

  • 12 noon PST on Sunday, March 17 – registrations for weeks 7-8-9 will open; registrations for weeks 1-2-3-4-5-6 continue.

  • 12 noon PST on Sunday, March 24 - registrations for mini weeks (3-6 nights) between July 15 - August 23 will open.

  • 12 noon PST on Sunday, March 31 - registrations for local programs will open

When does Community Life and Child & Youth Programming run this summer?

Community Life and our popular Child & Youth programs will run from July 15 - August 25.

Can’t attend for a full week?

No problem! Registrations for mini-week stays from July 15 - August 23 of 3 nights or more can be made at our website beginning at 12 noon PST on March 24.

Arrivals for mini-weeks are available Sunday - Wednesday. If you want add on the weekend on either side, in the registration window, select your program participation dates and then add on extra nights in the next section.

Can I register for programs if I’m not staying at Naramata Centre?

Yes! Off-site registration for our children, youth and adult programs will open March 31. Click here to explore everything Naramata Centre has to offer.

If I’m in a group of several families/friends and we want to be near one another, what should we do?

It depends on how many rooms or campsites you need.

If you need two, three, or four rooms/campsites – please have each family register, and in the “Anything else you would like us to know?” section, please reference the names of each family and that you’re hoping to all be in the same area. When all of your registrations come in, we’ll organize the room or campsite assignments so you are as close to one another as possible.

If you need five or more rooms/campsites - contact us at info@naramatacentresociety.org and tell us your desired arrival and departure dates, how many rooms/campsites, and where (rooms: Orchard Court, Maple Court, East Court, Cottage Court) or (campgrounds: Eastside, Southside, Creekside) you are hoping to be. Remember if it’s East Court, we’ll also need to know if your group needs one or two bedroom units – and if it’s pet-friendly or no-pet. We’ll follow up to assist with your bookings.

Multi-week bookings

If you want to stay two or three consecutive weeks with us, this year you’ll be able to arrange this yourself when you book. Simply select your Saturday or Sunday arrival date and the corresponding Saturday or Sunday departure date that encompasses your stay.

If your multi-weeks cross over our registration windows (for example, weeks 3 and 4), you can choose to register for each individual week as it becomes available, or you can wait to register when all of your weeks are open for registration. Good to know – if you register for each week individually, it’s possible you may end up in a different room or campsite each week.

I have a Personal Credit from last year. How do I use it?

Please select "Use Personal Credit" from the dropdown payment choices. We will apply your credit and then bill you for the balance due (if there is one).

Does Naramata Centre have Pet-Friendly rooms or campsites?

We do! East Court has pet-friendly rooms, and two of our campgrounds, Eastside and Southside, are both pet-friendly. You’ll see these options in the Accommodation section of the online registration form. To learn more, please see our Pet Policy.

Summer Sparkles: Community Life, Focused Programs, and Lunch!

Community Life

Customize your Naramata Centre Experience with your choice of a wide variety of intergenerational activities, including yoga, music, hikes, concerts, sacred pause, family movie night, and drum circle, as well as 2-1/2 hours of supervised child and youth activities each weekday morning. The Community Life fee of $175 per person helps subsidize these activities, and in a larger sense is an investment in the future of Naramata Centre. You're helping keep the spirit and purpose of Naramata Centre alive for generations to come. This summer, Community Life programming will run from July 15 - August 23.

Children and Youth programs

Our programs for children (entering grades 1-6) and youth (entering grades 7-12) are designed for daily participation Monday through Friday mornings (it’s part of your Community Life Fee), but if you choose to attend less often, please let the program supervisors know so they won’t worry. Programs run from Monday - Friday between July 15 and August 23 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Focused Programs

Focused Programs, such as SoulCollage, Let It Flow Watercolours, Seeing Life through Poetry, and Lift Every Voice are available to you under “Additional Programs” in the registration process. Each Program has its own fee which covers Program costs and materials.

Lunch!

Weekday lunches are available during much of the summer. If offered during your stay, you’ll see it listed in the “Additional Programs” section of your registration for week-long packages. Typical lunches are make-your-own sandwich with soups and salads to choose from. We’re aware many people have sensitivities, so this way you are in complete control of what you choose to eat. No surprises. Adult lunch $20. Children (12 and under) $10.

What if?

If you realize after registration that you want to add another Focused Program or Lunch! to your stay, no problem! We’ll have a special webpage for you at our website where you can register. Easy peasy!
