Summer at Naramata Centre is something special. It's when our Community Life program comes to life, with fun and enriching activities for everyone! Whether it's our Child & Youth program, daily music, meditation and yoga, guided hikes, waterslides, or movie nights—there's always something exciting happening. Programs for Children and Youth
Children and Youth programming is available on site from July 14 - August 23, 2025. Tuition is already included in your Community Life fee, but registration is required to secure a spot.
Children at Play
Give your child a summer of discovery, friendship, and fun at Naramata Centre! Our interest-based programs are designed for kids and youth of all ages, providing a welcoming space where they can be themselves, explore their creativity, and build lasting connections.
Led by nurturing program leaders, children will engage in imaginative play, storytelling, art-making, music, inclusive games, and more—all in a supportive community that celebrates them for who they are.
During Music Week, our Children’s Programming will feature Music & Play, a joyful opportunity to explore rhythm, song, and movement.

Youth Connection
Looking for a summer experience where you can be yourself, make new friends, and have a blast? Youth Connection at Naramata Centre is designed just for you!
Spend a week enjoying outdoor adventures, creative games, art-making, and laid-back hangouts in a supportive and inclusive space. This is your week, your way—free from pressure and full of possibilities. Bring your ideas, your energy, and your true self, and we’ll create an unforgettable experience together.
Plus, during Music Week, youth programming will include Joining Our Voices, where you can explore the power of music and connection.

Community Connection
Start your day with peace, movement, and fresh air. Join us on weekday mornings for yoga on the lawn outside the chapel. Come connect , breathe, and center yourself under the morning sky. Registration required.
Yoga
Take a few moments to ground yourself, breathe deeply, and move into your day with peace and intention. Find stillness and clarity. Join us for morning meditation at the chapel every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday morning.
Meditation
Intergenerational Gatherings & Activities
Begin your week with the Welcome Circle, settle into daily rhythms with morning yoga and music, and end with a community potluck and gratitude circle. Throughout the week, enjoy drum circles, poetry nights, conversations that matter, and the fun of our all-ages waterslide.
Each week also includes a guided activity designed to spark creativity and foster intergenerational connection. Come be part of a vibrant and welcoming community.
Join us under the stars for a family-friendly outdoor movie night every Monday at the Commons. Bring a blanket, get cozy, and enjoy a fun evening of film and community connection. All ages welcome!
Movie Night
Sacred Pause
Celebrate community and settle into the evening with music, quiet contemplation, and spiritual reflection on the Chapel lawn. A peaceful, all-ages gathering to reconnect with Self, Spirit, and one another.
Join us for a unique opportunity to learn from Anona, a sqilxʷ knowledge keeper from the syilx Okanagan Nation, as she shares her personal collection of syilx artifacts.
Each item tells a story and offers a glimpse into the rich traditions of syilx life. Through her storytelling, Anona shares the depth, beauty, and meaning behind each piece.

Indigenous Artifacts
Join Anona for a sensory-based outdoor learning experience. As you hike to the waterfall, you’ll explore local plants, animals, and landforms, while learning about traditional harvesting practices and their uses. Anona will also share the nsyilxcn names for plants, animals, birds, and water features, offering a deeper connection to the syilx Okanagan land and language. Connect Spiritually
Community Life includes plenty of opportunities for spiritual connection. From inspiring morning music to sacred pause, on-site worship and spiritual guided discussions, there are plenty of ways to deepen your spiritual practice - or develop one!

Join the drop-in sessions on Navigating Life with Spiritual Collaborator Dan Hines, or gather for sunset contemplations almost every day and share in the soulful experiences.

We are grateful for learnings from local indigenous leaders. Weekly “Learning on the Land” sessions offer teachings about local plants, animals and landforms. Indigenous storytelling is also incorporated into the Children and Youth Programs.

Wild Church is our attempt to return to the natural world to find connection with God, Source, Creator, whatever you name that which is bigger than we are. We invite you to join us on a pilgrimage into wilder space in the area for a time of activity-based reflection.
Healing House
The Healing House is a quaint cabin where a variety of practitioners deliver sessions designed to soothe the body, mind, and spirit.
Healing Pathway
Healing Pathway is a transformative experience that promotes self-care and assists in restoring wholeness, balance and harmony at all levels of being - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. You will discover grounding techniques, meditation and healing sequences. This is an inclusive and safe environment for folks of all backgrounds, faiths and spiritual paths.
Appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons between 1 - 4 p.m.

Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy
Biodynamic cranial sacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that focuses on releasing restriction in the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in order to balance the body’s nervous system.
Appointments are available on Fridays from 1 - 4 PM.

Spiritual Direction
A Spiritual Director is a trained and accountable professional who offers spiritual guidance in a confidential and trusting setting.
Whether you are simply contemplating your spiritual path, or looking to deepen your understanding, these one on one sessions are an opportunity to share and explore your story and your spiritual goals.
