Meet our Summer 2025 Music Resource People/Teams

  • July 14-18 & August 4-8 | Yanti Sharples

    For two decades, Yanti has performed locally in many different combos and venues. From Jazz Standards at weddings or retirement homes to rock ballads for fundraisers, either live or karaoke, Yanti has a diverse range of vocal talents. Her favourite is Song Catching, song circles inviting voices of all kinds to sing songs of the Ubuntu Choir Network.
    Yanti believes that the vibrations we emit from our bodies are the best medicine for what ails us. She aims to keep encouraging positive change in her environment by leading by example, as she is driven to make a difference in the world.

  • Jul 21-15 | Chris Giffen/rEvolve

    Christopher Giffen is a lifetime Naramata devotee. A songwriter, a minister, a singer, a therapist, a father, a partner. Chris brings his passion for creativity and transformation to leadership and life. He is overjoyed to join his deepest friends, Josh and Gord, spiritual AND musical leaders at Naramata this summer along with his family. rEvolve is a group of conscientious musicians offering an innovative experience which integrates music, guided movement, inspiring poetry, and an inclusive, intergenerational approach which nurtures Heart, Body, Spirit, and connection to Earth. Since 2003 rEvolve has been sought as community builders, entertainers, motivators, and musical animators at numerous large and small conferences and events across Canada.

  • July 28- August 1 | Katherine Goheen

    Harp. Voice. Violin. Ukulele. Original songs. Kat Goheen brings her vibrant musical and spiritual self to Naramata to involve all ages in music, spirit, and fun. From the participation of her pal, Fuzzbucket, in daily Morning Music and kids' classes, to the soulful Thursday concert, Kat adds her presence to the Naramata community fully. Professional singer, violin teacher, spiritual director. Kat is looking forward to sharing the week with you!

  • August 11-15 | Bruce Harding

    Bruce Harding is a lover of making music in the moment and a pilgrim on an intercultural journey. He bridges the boundaries between secular and sacred music and shares his passion for live performance and community music-making with people across Canada and beyond.

  • August 18-22 | James Sylvester

    James has been involved in the Naramata Centre community since 2018. He lives in Calgary with his wife, son, and dog, where he works as an Elementary Music Teacher in a public school. Outside of the classroom, James can be found at coffee shop jazz jams, putting on talent shows with friends, or playing at his church on the first Sunday of each month.
